Cape Town - Royal fans think they’ve spotted a hidden message in the shoes worn by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, as she stepped out to make an appearance at Victoria Yards in Johannesburg.
Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, spent the past two weeks touring Southern Africa and kicked off their visit in SA.
While Harry visited Angola, Botswana and Malawi, Meghan remained in South Africa.
The duchess made a surprise visit to Victoria Yards – a place for artisans and craftspeople to share their creations, Harper’s BAZAAR reports.
Meghan looked stylish in a navy dress and a pair of red designer flats, ELLE reports.
But it seems her shoes might have a hidden meaning.
The ruby red flats are from Everlane – a sustainable brand that Meghan is fond of – and the model she wore is called The Editor Slingbacks.
Fans are convinced this is a subtle hint urging people to pick up a copy of British Vogue’s September issue, which Meghan guest-edited.
The issue, titled Forces for Change, highlights the efforts of trailblazing female changemakers.
