Cape Town - Prince George will be ringing in his 6th birthday on a tropical island.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are planning to fly to the island of Mustique in the Caribbean to celebrate the future king’s birthday, Mirror UK reports.
The family of five will be able to enjoy their privacy as the private island enforces a no-fly zone, preventing paparazzi from taking any photographs from the air.
"It is incredibly private and incredibly discreet but not remote. They know and trust the staff who work there and they are creatures of habit," a royal insider told The Sun.
This won’t be the first time the royal couple have visited the island. It’s reported that Kate and William have been travelling to Mustique for years and that it’s their favourite Caribbean destination, PEOPLE reports.
The proud parents released a new portrait of Prince George to mark the milestone ahead of his birthday on Monday, 22 July.
The Duke and Duchess are currently on their summer holiday and taking a break from royal duties but the pair will be back to business in September.
