With William out of the way, a favourite has emerged.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary last month, and with it Kate revealed her favourite wedding photo.

To the surprise of many, her husband is nowhere to be found in the snap, according to Express.

The couple are still happily married and have welcomed three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Fans across the world still remember the pair’s wedding day as an international celebration and look back joyously on the event which took place at Westminster Abbey in London.

For Kate, one picture has really stood out since that day.

Samir Hussein, a royal photographer who worked on the couple’s big day, shed some light on the duchess' favourite photo.

"I think there were some quite big crowds outside the abbey. A lot of people had been camping out for days and days. And I think she just wanted to acknowledge the crowds, but also with it being such an enormous event, the cameras and stuff," Samir said, according to Elle.

The photo shows Kate waving back to the crowd and acknowledging all those around her as she ascends the steps with her father, Michael Middleton.

"It was really nice when she turned straight in my direction and waved sort of straight down the barrel of my lens, and I gave a big smile," he added.
