Cape Town – Kensington Palace has reportedly responded to rumours that the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex are at war with one another.
Recent headlines have painted a negative picture of the sisters-in-law after it was reported that Kate was left in tears ahead of Meghan’s wedding.
People magazine reported that Kate was “left in tears”, although it is not clear why.
It was later reported by The Sun that Kate was left upset after a “stressful” dress fitting with Princess Charlotte, which did not go according to Meghan’s demands.
On Saturday, the British publication ran with another story that Kate and Meghan had an explosive row over the treatment of the Duchess of Cambridge’s staff.
Kate allegedly told Meghan not to berate members of her team, saying: “That's unacceptable, they're my staff and I speak to them.”
An ‘impeccable’ source told The Sun: “It’s a tricky situation but it was a one-off and they are determined to maintain a positive relationship even though they are obviously very different in their approach.”
Meanwhile an official spokesperson for Kensington Palace denied the fall out completely, saying: “This never happened”
Rumours of a family feud spread after it was announced that Harry and Meghan would be moving to Frogmore House in the new year, in preparation for the arrival of their first child.

During a public appearance last Thursday, Kate ignored negative rumours with sweet words about Harry and Meghan's baby.
Answering a fan about their happy news, Kate said: “It's such a special time to have little kiddies and a cousin for George and Charlotte and Louis! It's really special.”
