Cape Town – Dr Munir Somji may have worked on many celebrities in his day, but not Kate Middleton. Kensington Palace is shutting down rumours that The Duchess of Cambridge received 'baby botox' after the British plastic surgeon's before and after pictures promoting the procedure went viral.

According to E! News and in a since-deleted Instagram post, Somji captioned the two images, "Our Kate loves a bit of baby botox."

"Patients come from far and wide to see me for this procedure. It truly is so simple... There is no excuse for doctors to leave patients with brows on the floor. Note the reduction of fine lines on the forehead. But also note the depression of the medial (middle part) brow but elevation of the lateral tail of the brow. The magic of baby Botox is that it does not leave you feeling so heavy and provides you with a subtle reduction of lines as well as a better eyebrow position."

Sammy Curry, marketing manager for Dr Medi Spa located 10 minutes from Kensington palace, according to Page Six, commented that Somji thought it was a good comparison picture to promote the procedure and its effects. According to Curry, when Somji wrote "Our Kate", he didn't mean the surgery's Kate, implying she's a client of theirs, but in fact "the UK's Kate".

When asked if Kate frequented the surgery, Curry said, "We wouldn't be able to disclose whether she is a client or not. We have non-disclosure agreements where we can't disclose our high-end clients.

"We absolutely can't comment at all that she has come to us."

Kensington Palace, however, did. A spokesperson for Kensington Palace told the New York Post the rumour is "categorically not true" and "The Royal Family never endorse[s] commercial activity".

Further, the Palace said to E! News, "This story is not true."

Our Kate loves an align dress, in a pastel shade - often baby blue - paired perfectly with an Aldo heel and nude lip. But the Duchess won't be enhancing her look with any baby botox. No, no. Don't worry about our Kate... worry about your eyebrows.
