Cape Town - Meghan was a vision in purple and red during an outing alongside Prince Harry on Monday. The couple visited Birkenhead, Merseyside in North West England where they mingled with a number of local organisations within the community.

During the outing Harry and Meghan also mingled with fans who had crowded in Hamilton Square to catch a glimpse of them.

In the crowd was Tracey Marie. Sharing her experience of the outing on Twitter, Tracey recalled the sweet moment her young niece, who is blind, had with the royal couple.

Alongside two photos – one of Harry with a protective arm around the little girl and the other of Meghan accepting a letter she wrote in braille – Tracey wrote: “The little girl with the grey hat with a black bobble (My niece who is blind) Harry held on to her ensuring she was safe. Meghan went down on the floor to take a card she had made for her in braille. They'll make great parents.”

According to People magazine, there were a group of blind children who were allowed to touch Harry and Meghan’s faces during their outing as well.

Frank Field, a Member of Parliament from the area told the magazine: “In the square, there were some blind children who wanted to touch the royal faces because they couldn’t see them.

“Both of them [Harry and Meghan] went down on their haunches so the children could touch their faces.”
