Cape Town – Meghan Markle has officially been assigned a legal aid to help her with her schedule.

According to E! News, the American actress, who is well on her way to becoming part of the British royal family, has been assigned former Kensington Palace press officer Amy Pickerill.

Pickerill will act as assistant private secretary in Prince Harry’s office and will manage Meghan’s diary as well as handle any correspondents that Meghan may receive.

A spokesperson for Kensington Palace announced on Monday that Pickerill "will be working on Meghan Markle's programme."

And it seems the assistant secretary has already started as she was photographed alongside Meghan when the royal couple visited Edinburgh Castle in Scotland on 13 February.
