Cape Town - Meghan will be celebrating her birthday on 4 August – a day that’s special to Queen Elizabeth II!
The Duchess of Sussex (37) seems to be getting closer and closer with the royal family – more especially with Her Majesty inviting her for a ride on the royal train in June, an invitation yet to be extended to Kate.
But now the connection is getting deeper with Meghan’s birthday coming up this Sunday, August 4, reports People.
As it happens, she shares her big day with another special woman – the late mom of the queen herself!
Elizabeth Angela Marguerite Bowes-Lyon – known as the Queen Mother – was the wife of King George VI, whose demise in 1952 saw his daughter assuming the throne, writes biography.com.
The Queen Mother died in March of 2002 at the ripe old age of 101!
All eyes will be on Meghan, who’s got huge shoes to fill – with the Queen Mother reportedly performing royal duties and attending events up until a few months before her death, reports Elle.
