Cape Town – Kensington Palace has announced Meghan Markle’s official title once she marries Prince Harry.

The palace tweeted on Saturday, ahead of the royal wedding, that Queen Elizabeth will confer a Dukedom on Prince Harry making him the Duke of Sussex.

Meghan Markle on marriage will thus be known as the Duchess of Sussex.

Prince Harry and Meghan are set to tie the knot at 13:00 CAT at St. George's Chapel on Saturday.

Today Prince Harry and Ms. Markle will be married at Windsor Castle surrounded by friends and family.
