Cape Town - It seems there’s no end to Meghan’s family drama.

In a recent episode of MTV’s new reality series The Royal World the Duchess of Sussex’s nephew, Tyler Dooley, says it was her marriage to Prince Harry (34) that put distance between her and the family she was raised by, Express reports.

“My family has been torn apart. Had we had some guidance and assistance, perhaps from the royal family, we could’ve avoided a lot of this stuff,” Tyler (26) says.

The medicinal marijuana farmer also says he was disappointed that only Meghan’s mother had been included in the wedding celebrations, The Sun reports.

“We all thought we were going to be invited. You never forget your roots. Your family that was raised with you. You can’t forget them,” Tyler says.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Tyler further expressed how much he admires his aunt who isn’t much older than him.

“We’re only nine years apart. Meghan’s siblings are 20 years apart. So her closest ‘siblings’ would’ve been my brother and I.

“We would idolise her as kids. Her personality is unreal. Her smile, she’s just phenomenal. I’m just happy that she found someone she loves.”

Addressing how his grandfather, Thomas Markle, has been portrayed by the media, Tyler says he’s angry that the 74-year-old was depicted as a monster who was simply riding the wave of his daughter’s ties to the royals.

“He raised her and put her through school, got her into acting. Do you know how hard it is to get acting gigs in Los Angeles? That’s so f***ing hard.

“Obviously he should’ve been there to walk his daughter down the aisle. But he loves her more than anything in the whole world.”
