Cape Town - The Duchess of Cambridge has returned to her royal duties after five months of maternity leave.

Catherine paid a visit to Sayers Croft Trust Forest School and Wildlife Garden in Paddington, London on Tuesday, where she spent time with local school children and observed how learning about the outdoors can benefit their well-being.

The mom-of-three - who gave birth to youngest son, Prince Louis in April - spent the afternoon listening to stories, making leaf crowns, gardening and searching for "minibeasts" with young kids from various local schools.

Catherine stepped out in a more casual look, wearing an olive green sweater over a printed silk Joseph blouse and matching jacket by the Swedish brand Fjällräven, light brown biker skinny jeans from Zara and her favourite brown boots.

The British royal was full of smiles as she interacted with the children.
