Even the royals need to be entertained.

Britain’s Prince Charles has shared how his family and friends have been helping him stay entertained amid the Covid-19 lockdown.

Believe it or not, he’s been receiving tons of hilarious video clips, Mirror reports.

"Beyond the walls of the hospitals, care homes, doctors' surgeries and pharmacies, we’ve also seen a heartwarming burgeoning of remarkable kindness and concern for those in need across the country," the Prince of Wales told Country Life magazine recently.

"Younger people shopping for older folk, some making regular telephone calls to those living alone, church services recorded and emailed to parishioners and, of course, we have seen the very best use of technology – allowing people to keep working, but also to keep in touch through virtual parties, games, singing – and some of the funniest videos I have seen for a long time!"

The heir to the throne was forced to self-isolate for a week in March after contracting Covid-19.

Charles also paid tribute to retailers, shop workers, delivery drivers and shelf stackers who’ve toiled to keep shops running amid the global pandemic.

His mother, Queen Elizabeth, celebrated her 94th birthday on 21 April, with many members of the family offering their best wishes.

Charles sent out a heartfelt birthday message on the Clarence House Instagram account.

"Wishing Her Majesty the queen a very happy 94th birthday," read the caption alongside the post.

The post paid tribute to the monarch and the loving relationship she shares with her eldest son.
