Prince Harry teased a collaboration with Jon Bon Jovi last week.

"Coming soon..." he wrote, sharing a text conversation between the two that only hinted in part that it would have something to do with the Invictus Games. More specifically, they mentioned the date of 28 February – the same day as the Invictus Games Choir event which Harry is scheduled to attend this week.

During an appearance on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show with Sky on Wednesday though, the 57-year-old Bon Jovi frontman revealed major details about the collaboration, confirming the two are releasing a song together, reports People.

The single will be a re-recording with the Duke of Sussex of Bon Jovi's 2019 song, Unbroken, for the 2020 Invictus Games set to take place in May. The two are expected to meet up on 28 February at Abbey Road Studios to work on the hit.

"I'm going to hand him a tambourine and see what he's got going," Jon joked with Chris Evans about the single, which will also feature the Invictus Games' choir.

The event will be one of Prince Harry's last engagements before stepping down as a senior member of the royal family on 31 March.

Commenting on Harry and Meghan's unprecedented decision, Jon said, "I've been asking, 'What do I do? How do I address him?'"

He continued, joking, "Then I realised I'm going to call him 'The Artist Formerly Known as Prince.'"
