Cape Town – While the Duke an Duchess spent two days in Dublin, Ireland at the request of her Majesty’s Government the couple had some time for a quick lunch date.

Prince Harry and Meghan spent the only downtime they had having lunch at one of Dublin’s best-known restaurants, Delahunt, E! News reports.

While the couple were accompanied by British Ambassador to Ireland Robin Barnett and their team of Palace aides, they dined alone in a snug booth at the back of the restaurant.

So, what did the loved-up couple eat on their date?

“They had the smoked salmon starter. Meghan had the hake for her main course; Harry had the lamb. They had planned to have dessert too, but said they were too full by the end of their meal. So they just had what we call our 3fe Dublin roasted coffee,” restaurant manager, Grace Davis told Vanity Fair.

She added that Harry and Meghan even shared a half-pint of Guinness and Harry had a coke, before ending their meal with a strong coffee. “They seemed to love it—it was empty plates all around. They even shared a half-pint of Guinness, and Harry had a Coke.”

A photo, shared on Delahunt’s official Twitter account, shows the couple posing with the restaurant’s staff.

Davis further revealed Harry had his aides make a booking at the restaurant in advance, and they pre-ordered their meals to assist the restaurant in being ready for their visit.

But while the couple took extra precaution to keep their lunch date private, word about their restaurant choice travelled fast as the couple were photographed and filmed by fans as they were leaving the restaurant.
