Cape Town - Thousands were glued to their television screens when Prince William (36) married Catherine (36) in April 2011.

Now, seven years and three kids later, the Duchess of Cambridge has firmly cemented herself as a key member of the royal family and a pillar both her husband and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, can rely on.

And now it’s been revealed she has a close relationship with her brother-in-law, Prince Harry – he even has his own cute nickname for her, Express reports.

Kate has been known by many names and titles, including Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William on occasion even affectionately calling his wife “babe” or “darling”, Harper’s Bazaar reports.

But Prince Harry – who’s known the Duchess for 15 years – endearingly refers to her as “Cath”, which is short for Catherine, OK reports.

However, in a radio interview with presenter Scott Mills she said she wasn’t aware of the moniker and answered to most names.

“I’m not sure, I’m not that familiar with it. But I’ll answer to most things.”

It’s not unusual for the royals to have nicknames for each other – Harry’s been overheard referring to Meghan as “Meg” while she in turn calls him “Haz”.
