Cape Town – Prince Harry and his brother William, The Duke of Cambridge occupy a very unique position as siblings in public life.

Their relationship as brothers has been under the microscope of the worldwide press since they were born.

We watched as they went to school together, shared the weight of losing their mother at an early age together and managed to find happiness once again.

But lately, rumours of a rift have swirled, and on a recent tour of Africa, Harry spoke about where their relationship – that once seemed unbreakable – stands today.

The Duke of Sussex told ITV's Tom Bradby: "Inevitably stuff happens. But we're brothers, we'll always be brothers,".

He then admitted: "We're certainly on different paths at the moment, I'll always be there for him and as I know, he'll always be there for me. We don't see each other as much as we used to because we're so busy, but I love him dearly."

He then ended off by saying: "The majority of stuff is created out of nothing. As brothers, we have good days, and we have bad days."

The snippet will form part of a documentary about Harry, Meghan and Archie's tour of Africa which took place earlier this year.
