Cape Town – Prince William will attend the world premiere of Peter Jackson's They Shall Not Grow Old at the BFI London Film Festival.
The First World War film uses ground-breaking methods that transform years-old footage to provide a new understanding of the human experience of life at the front.
It was co-commissioned by 14-18 NOW - the UK’s arts programme for the First World War centenary – as well as Imperial War Museums.

The Duke of Cambridge will meet director Peter Jackson together with producers and commissioners from the film, before watching it on Tuesday, 16 October.
The 62nd BFI London Film Festival in partnership with American Express takes place from Wednesday, 10 October to Sunday, 21 October 2018.
