Royal business keeping the Duke and Duchess of Sussex apart on Valentine’s Day

Cape Town – While Prince Harry and Meghan will celebrate their first Valentine’s Day as a married couple, they’ll be spending it apart.

Kensington Palace on Monday announced that the Duke of Sussex – who currently holds the title as the Captain General of the Royal Marines – will visit Exercise Clockwork in Bardufoss, Norway on Thursday, 14 February.

As for Meghan, there has been no confirmation of what the Duchess of Sussex will be up to on the day of love.

It is highly unlikely that she will be travelling as she is in the third trimester of her pregnancy.

This is not the first time Harry and Meghan have spent Valentine’s Day apart. According to Entertainment Tonight the Duke joined Prince Charles at the 2018 International Year of the Reef in London.

The couple did however make a trip to Scotland the day before.

Cape Town - Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's pre-Valentine's Day plans have been revealed - the couple will be traveling to Scotland. In a tweet on Tuesday, Kensington Palace confirmed the royal couple will spend Tuesday, 13 February in Edinburgh.

According to their schedule, the royal couple are expected to make their next public appearance together ahead of Valentine’s Day on Friday, 1 February and then again on Thursday, 7 February.

Harry and Meghan will visit Bristol on the Friday, to “meet members of the public, learn more about the city’s rich cultural history, and visit organisations supporting communities most in need.”

On the Thursday they will attend the annual Endeavour Fund Awards at Draper’s Hall.
