Samantha Markle suggests some New Year’s resolutions for her sister, Meghan

Cape Town - Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has had a tough relationship with her family since she became part of the British monarchy, Marie Claire reports.

And now her half-sister, Samantha Markle, has once again hit out at her, suggesting some New Year’s resolutions she believes Meghan should follow in 2019.

In an interview with the Daily Star, the 54-year-old said she wanted Meghan to thank their dad, Thomas (74), for everything he’s done for her.

Speaking directly to the royal she said: “Your New Year’s resolution should be to be honest and pay tribute to those who’ve helped you the most such as your dad.”

“Thank him for your college education, your career, building every stage you set foot on, but really appreciate the people that care about you,” she added.

Samantha cheekily added that the former actress should “eat some chocolate” to sweeten her disposition for the year ahead.

Samantha is no stranger to controversy and reports have claimed she’s on Scotland Yard’s “fixated persons” list, meaning she poses a risk to the reputation of the monarchy – a claim she’s firmly denied, Evening Standard reports.

“Scotland Yard doesn’t mention names unless they’ve been charged. They clearly said I haven’t been charged,” she tweeted.
