Cape Town - Queen Elizabeth is taking bougie to a whole new level!

When the 93-year-old monarch eats bananas she peels and chops the fruit with a knife and fork, Mirror reported.

According to her former chef Darren McGrady, the royal uses the fork to hold the banana down and cut the ends off.

"Holding the fork, cut off one end of the banana, then cut off the other end," said McGrady, explaining to Express UK how to eat a banana like the queen.

"Then you turn the knife on its side and cut into the skin to prise the banana open."

Being very particular about what and how she eats, the queen apparently also banned garlic from her kitchen, Marie Claire reports.

She prohibited the use of this vegetable to avoid the awkward stench that comes with it.

Now that’s exquisite dining!
