Cape Town – On a windy Tuesday morning Prince Harry and Meghan visited Monwabisi beach on their second day in Cape Town, South Africa. And right after the royal engagement that included Their Royal Highnesses sitting down with members from Waves for Change and learning more about The Lunchbox Fund, ITN managed to capture a few candid moments of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Talking about the start of the tour, Prince Harry said, "Yesterday was great. The start in Nyanga, it was amazing. I think everyone across the world now has probably heard about what’s been happening more recently," he said, referring to the surge in gender-based violence in the city.

"That kind of stuff happens all the time, every year, but it really peaked in the last month or so. So we’ve done our best to really keep track of what’s been going on."

But Prince Harry continued, and on a more hopeful note, he said, "I love this place."

"Meeting the people, the energy, the fun, again, the positivity, the optimism, and the hope in the face of such incredible adversity. There are young people and older people, men and women trying to change what has effectively become the norm," he said, before continuing quite simply, that’s what makes Cape Town a place worth celebrating.
