Cape Town – Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made their first official joint visit to Edinburg, Scotland and there were a lot of adorable things happening.

The couple arrived hand-in-hand, as usual, at Edinburgh Castle on Tuesday morning and were welcomed by the Band of the Royal Marines as well as the adorable mascot of The Royal Regiment of Scotland, a Shetland pony named Cruachan.

While everyone was delighted to see Harry and Meghan, all little Cruachan had on his mind was food as he tried to take a bite of the British royal’s hand while being stroked.

Prince Harry, of course, had a chuckle and carried on petting the pony.

Once inside the castle, Harry, 33, and Meghan, 36, observed the firing of the one ‘o clock gun.

From there they paid a visit to Social Bite - a social business and enterprise cafe, that provides food and drink to the homeless as well as hires people who have experienced homelessness, in Edinburgh city centre.

The couple ended their visit at a reception to mark Scotland's Year of Young People 2018 at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
