Cape Town - It’s no secret that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex won’t be spending this festive season with the Queen.

Instead, Prince Harry and Meghan have opted to spend Archie’s first Christmas with her mother Doria Ragland in the US.

So who will be at Queen Elizabeth’s side this year?

It’s believed Prince William and Kate, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, Beatrice and her fiancé Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, Prince Charles and Camilla, Zara and Mike Tindall and Princess Anne are some of the names on the list.

But Buckingham Palace has indicated the names could change.

“We don’t confirm in advance which members of the Royal Family will be with The Queen at Sandringham on Christmas Day,” a spokesperson told Express.co.uk.

As usual celebrations with the most famous family in the world look set to be a lavish affair.

Pictures of their annual holiday decorations showed a spectacularly decorated 6m Nordmann fir Christmas tree positioned in the St. George’s Hall and a smaller 4,5m tree in the Crimson Drawing Room, writes Town Country and Magazine.

Those celebrating with the Queen will head out to the traditional Christmas Day church service at St Mary Magdalene before tucking into a delicious lunch.

“After church, that’s when they have a big lunch that includes a salad with shrimp or lobster and a roasted turkey and all of your traditional side dishes like parsnips, carrots, brussels sprouts and Christmas pudding with brandy butter for dessert,” former royal chef Darren McGrady says.

“They stick with the same meal year after year.”
