Cape Town - The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will soon be moving out of their cottage at Kensington Palace to accommodate Doria Ragland (62), who wants to be closer to her grandchild.

The couple will reportedly move from the two-bedroom Nottingham Cottage they’ve shared since their engagement to the lavish 10-bedroom Frogmore Cottage, about a kilometre south of Windsor Castle, Mirror reports.

“With a baby on the way, there wasn’t the option of the Duke and Duchess staying at the palace as Nottingham Cottage is tiny and none of the bigger apartments is available,” an insider said.

“Doria will be staying with them for quite long periods and they need a larger place,” they added.

The cottage was a wedding gift to Meghan (34) and Harry (37) from Queen Elizabeth II (92) realising that Windsor means a great deal to them since it was where they got married, Daily Mail reports.

A source told Us Weekly that the former actress is keen on her mother moving to the UK to spend more time with her and the baby, due to be born in the European spring next year, but social worker Doria hasn’t given up her home in Los Angeles just yet.

“She [Doria] has told friends that she’d keep her house in Los Angeles but is indeed planning on spending a majority of her time with Meghan,” they said.
