The Mandoza Files: Extinguishers and witnesses

2010-02-15 08:43

So Mandoza was in another car accident... surprised much?

Kwaito star Mandoza, legally named Mduduzi Tshabalala, crashed someone else's Mini Cooper on Sunday 14 Feb at around 9am near Weltevreden Park in Johannesburg.

But Mandoza says it wasn't him. Damn these phantom drivers...

The Times reports that an anonymous eye-witness claims Mandoza was alone in the car and "driving at a very high speed".

The anonymous witness also claims that after Mandoza's car hit the pavement and spun out, it caught fire. A taxi driver then stopped, put the blaze out with his fire extinguisher, then returned to his taxi and drove away.

Woah, how convenient.

Not for poor Nkululeko Bobo Ncube, the owner of the smashed Mini Cooper. Ncube reckons Mondoza might have been visiting his brother on Saturday evening and could have taken the car.

Mandoza was escorted to Helen Joseph Hospital after the crash and tests are being done. We're sure we know what kinds of tests those are...
Mandoza was found guilty of culpable homicide two years ago after two people died in an accident that he was involved in.

We hope he was at least courteous to the helpful taxi driver because he may have to hitch a ride with him soon. There's no way a judge can let him get behind the wheel again.

Is it just us or are there a whole lot of things that just don't add up here? What are your thoughts?
