Will Matt Damon make a good Francois Pienaar?

So Matt, who recently finished the Argus Cycle Tour, is in Cape Town to film a movie about the 1995 Rugby World Cup.

The movie is directed by Clint Eastwood and Morgan Freeman is playing the part of Nelson Mandela. The movie is based on the book by John Carlin called "Playing the Enemy: Nelson Mandela and the Game that Made a Nation".

This should be interesting, right? There are even some whispers of a possible Oscar nomination and the film is no where near completion. But where are our local actors and directors… hello, Gavin Hood? Gavin just finished up directing the big blockbuster Wolverine starring Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds.
