WRATH: Wanted
As the foxy, er, Fox, Angelina Jolie is a vision of unbridled venom and effortless cool as an assassin with deadly accuracy when it comes to making a kill. As a member of the thousand-year-old secret society The Fraternity, she is blessed with the ability to defy gravity by bending the path of a bullet, dangling from runaway trains without so much as sustaining a scratch, and who can forget that epic car chase? This is one gal you do not want to piss off.
SLOTH: Tomb Raider
Arguably Angie's sexiest performance ever. As the archeologist-cum-warrior Lara Croft, she slays robot monsters, a squad of ninjas and poor Daniel Craig's heart while going on adventures in the most remote and treacherous places on earth. And looking perfectly toned and badass every step of the way. It's enough to make anyone feel slothful by comparison.
LUST: Original Sin
Back when Angie had no qualms about letting it all hang out for a movie (also known as the Billy Bob days) she made jaws collectively drop as the sensual new wife of a Cuban coffee magnate, played by Antonio Banderas, in the late 19th century. The movie itself was a deemed a critical failure, and even earned Angelina a Razzie nomination for Worst Actress, but her lustful performance is the type we haven’t seen from her since.
ENVY: Mr. & Mrs. Smith
The sparks are just about visible between John and Jane Smith (now better known as Brangelina) who work as hitmen who discover that their next target is the competition – each other! So while the world reverberated with the news that Brad Pitt and then-wife Jennifer Aniston were splitting up (just months after the film was wrapped) it all sort of made sense once Mr. & Mrs. Smith was released, and we were all left with seething jealousy. And five years later, they and their six-strong brood, are still going strong.
GREED: Hackers
Never let Angelina be accused of being behind the curve. Back when the idea of computer hacking was still something of a novelty, she brought her adorable pixie haircut and riot grrrl attitude to this 1995 thriller. As Kate Libby (aka Acid Burn) she was cyberpunk personified – hungry for any challenge during the early years of the Information Age, and living outside the law.
PRIDE: Girl, Interrupted
How does an insane person know that she's insane? It's a dilemma, and that's also what makes Lisa Rowe, the character that helped Angelina to her Oscar win in 2000, so magical. The troublemaker of the asylum at Claymoore Hospital encourages her fellow patients to stop taking their medication and even trade them amongst each other. She even resists the effects of her therapy. Pride or just plain madness? The great thing about her performance is that that line is always blurred.
GLUTTONY: Gia
In Angelina's breakout screen role – for which she won Golden Globe and SAG awards – she plays Gia Carangi, one of America's first supermodels. But Gia's rags to riches story soon became a cautionary tale as she began abusing cocaine and heroin and met a tragic, premature end. The film is also notable for a few hot 'n heavy lesbian scenes involving Angelina and Lost actress Elizabeth Mitchell.
