Best and Worst of the 2013 Golden Globes

2013-01-15 09:55
The so-called "First Ladies of Comedy" stepped up to their podiums when the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards was aired live on M-Net Movies in the wee of Monday morning (and repeated later that evening on M-Net). And boy... They sure did bring the LOLZ in a major way.

But, between their candid moments, cheeky swipes at celebrities (poor Taylor Swift!) and jokes we actually could laugh at without the guilt (no offence, Ricky Gervais), there were also moments that also left you a bit... confused.

Alas, if you missed it, or just want to relive the most outrageous moments, we bring you a wrap of the best and the worst moments of the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards in glorious GIF form:

1. Kathryn Bigelow: Torture survivor

2. When BFFs compete against each other for an award:

3. Hollywood's hottest not-couple: (BTW: Even though it was fake, we would endorse this relationship)

4. Jennifer Lawrence's epic First Wives Club reference:

5. THAT high five between James Bond (pardon... Daniel Craig) and Adele:

6. When Tina Fey said what we all were thinking:

7. Glenn Close after a few drinks...

8. Jessica Chastain explaining her dress to Jeremy Renner, while J.Lo and Casper schmooze:

9. Nominee Darcy St. Fudge, who didn't win Best Actress in a Drama: (Yes, it's Amy Poehler in disguise)

10. Taylor Swift looks unimpressed as Adele beats her to the award for Best Original Song:

Overall I have to say this has been the best Golden Globes in a while! Even though NBC didn't give Tina and Amy enough screen time, they rocked it as hosts. Hope we get to seem them in 2014!
