The Twilight movies should continue

Benita Melody
I am a huge Twi-hard and since the Twilight movies have made such an influence on people and changed people's lives and people are so addicted to it and it would be a shame to see it come to an end, wouldn't you say?

I think that the Twilight movies should continue and not only do I plead but so does (out of 4/4) 3½/4 (three and a half out of 4) of the whole world agrees with me.

Kristen really did a wonderful job and so did Taylor, Rob, and Renesmee and the other's too so if they could continue the Twilight movies it would be great and the BREAKING DAWN was a marvellous movie to watch and so were the others.

Please if they would read this and continue it would be a GREAT GREAT HONOUR, at least something should continue in the Twilight Movies and Series.

75% of the world want Twilight to continue? Really? Just tells me 75% of people have no clue about books or movies... Or maybe this is just a joke and I've been duped...

      klipkop.degroote - 2012-11-20 11:02

"Kristen really did a wonderful job and so did Taylor, Rob, and Renesmee.." hahahahaha joke of the year that, watch something with Al Pacino (or even any other actor) in it then we will talk about acting again. Please dont let this shinny vampire and stink wet dog stuff continue please we have healthy minds and need real entertainment. Benita Melody try Mills and Boon, nice books just for you to enjoy!

Couldn't agree more. Twilight is to the art of movie making as Mac Donalds is to fine cuisine. The rubbish like this that Hollywood is spewing out caters to the dumb masses who couldn't tell a story line from a carrot in bergie vomay or a fine french soup.

      nrgx.nrg - 2012-11-20 11:53

weak story appeals to weak minds! Almost any book is better than this rubbish!

Benita Melody is a troll. ;p

Twilight, although unbelievably successful, is a franchise that must die. Now! Written by an 'author' who'll never be able to write anything beyond teenage fiction. She deserves the following of the readership she has. With them all gone, the rest of us can enjoy great fiction and writing.

I must admit I was surprised they did not get Justin Bieber to play the part of the disco ball.....

  • delish7564 - 2012-11-20 11:35

Although looking forward to the final instalment, I would disagree about wanting it to continue....better to stop while it is still popular and well done, than continue and deteriorate. It's very difficult to continue momentum without losing something.

Has the world not suffered enough? Do we really have to put up with more of this nonsense?

  • compos.mentis.58 - 2012-11-20 12:08

Not bad writing for a 5-year old.

  • shaunwesley.gordon - 2012-11-20 12:09

Real vampires don't sparkle..... That is not a vampire, it's a disco ball....

  • James - 2012-11-20 12:12

    Blade. End of discussion.

      mbossenger - 2012-11-20 12:15

Somehow I can't see Edward saying the line "I was born ready, motherXXXXer"

    Er, no!

Bella is a pathetic protaganist. For most of the series she does nothing but mope and her pathetic musings are supposed to seem deep. Sure it's deep, if you think puddles are deep, or if you think the musings of a stoner are deep. She attempts to commit suicide to get her man back. Really? That's what she wants to teach teenage girls? If your man leaves you, just get yourself into some k*k and he'll come running. Maybe Kristen Stewart is a good actress, she seemed capable in other works but there is no sign of her acting abilities this pile of leftover letters from much better books and screenplays.

My wife made me watch the previous one on the big screen. Afterwards I cried in the shower for hours - behind a locked door. I'm scared for life.

Perhaps they've run their course. My daughter enjoyed the books and movies thoroughly but even she is glad it's coming to an end. At best, graphic novels to continue the storyline would be enough for the 'Twiehards'

  • tugwana.gwalagwala - 2012-11-20 14:59

Nonsense! I wasted my time watching the first one. Well, if you okes like it, good for you.

  • bernadette.francois.75 - 2012-11-20 17:17

Influence on people's lives??? What people? Where? What is the message?

      phathuchicos - 2012-11-20 18:25

Benita has got more to tell us before we freak out...

  • phathuchicos - 2012-11-20 18:24

I am glad we'll no longer have twilight...that is one movie you that you actually feel sorry for yourself when watching it. I mean come-on, vampire dont sparkle and they drink blood dracula style. Ware-wolves dont own a house okay. So enough of rubbish vampire twisted fairytales...

  • anthea.lagrange - 2012-11-20 20:20

I really tried to watch the one that was on MNet on Sunday night, and I'll watch pretty much anything. I'm afraid it ranked right at the top of the most dull movies I have ever watched.I made it through about 15 minutes until I could no longer. If vampires were really that lame, they would never have become legendary. Now Blade and Underworld, those are decent vampire films. Those vampires live up to their reputation.

      charlesdumbwin.dumbwin - 2012-11-20 20:27

      Couldn't agree with you more!!!

News 24 deleted my previous comment. Dont know why. Here is the Just of it. This film series marks the beginning of a terrible fate for real film fans all over the world. HollyWood has finally figured out a way to Tap into the Teenage Girl market and will continue to do so from this day forward. Hell, My sister even watches this Drivvel and she is 36 years old. I thought Hunger Games was a cool Sci Fi film and to my dismay I found out that it is a Twilight Clone. Wooden Acting, Token hot Guys..etc. This gives way to a fundamental shift in how films are made and who the target audience is. Actors become every little girls dream so I guess we are in for a new generation of bad acting with lots of Eye Candy. By virtue of the fact that they Killed the it factor of Vampires and Werewolves It stands to reason that no genre will be safe. Case in point, Spiderman. News 24 must have some sort of agreement with DSTV box office to protect the image of the films that are showing as my prevoius comment was deleted. Shamefull.

Really? 87,5% of people in this world wants the Twilight movies to continue? Do me a favour, and take a look at the IMDb page of each of the Twilight movies. You'll see how rubbish the ratings really are. (Fyi, the ratings are determined by normal users, not critics.)

  • maylani.bezuidenhout - 2012-11-21 08:38

Oh hell no, there are far better vampire books to make movies of. Anita Blake? Not much better written but they will make good movies.

  • jennifer.s.nutt - 2012-11-22 09:59

1 - How is it supposed to continue? The storyline is over. 2 - So 3 and 1/2 out of 4 agree with you (which you could have written as 7/8 by the way)... That's 87.5% - of the world! Of over 7 billion people! Your education is a joke on so many levels. 3 - Grow up and read something worth the time.
