5 other times we've seen a penis on TV

Cape Town – It’s not every day that a penis makes the news.

After a news station accidentally broadcast an exposed penis during their news insert we decided to go digging for some more risky moments when a penis made its appearance on the small and big screen.

Male nudity on TV and in the movies is still somewhat taboo although there are a number of Hollywood big shots who have shown it all. In fact, there are some actors who prefer roles where they have to drop their trousers.

After some poking around (sorry, not sorry) on the internet, we found five other times famous penises were exposed.

Mark Wahlberg – Boogie Nights

The stripper movie that kick-started Mark Wahlberg’s career. Best known as an underwear model before he crossed over to film, Wahlberg lost the tighty whities and bared it all.

Michael Fassbender – Shame

We’ve all heard the rumours of Michael Fassbender’s...uhm...big guy. In the movie Shame, Fassbender plays a sex addict businessman and repeatedly shows us every bit of him.

Ewan McGregor – Trainspotting

Ewan McGregor made his frontal debut in this movie. Clearly one of those actors who doesn’t suffer from any hang-ups, he also showed off in The Pillow Book, Young Adam and Velvet Goldmine.

Richard Gere – American Gigolo

In American Gigolo, Richard Gere became the first well-known actor to go full frontal.  In fact, it was Gere himself who decided to strip down - it wasn’t in the script. During an interview he said it was a natural process during the movie. Big ups to him.

Jason Segel – Forgetting Sarah Marshall

This goes down as one of those awkward nude movie moments. While being dumped in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Segel removes the towel covering his modesty and lets it all flop out.
