A game of cat and mouse in the crime thriller Juweeldiewe

2014-08-28 15:46

Cape Town – Swart Kat writer Gert Basson’s short story Juweeldiewe comes to life on screen in a stylish neo-noir film at the Silwerskerm Festival.

This crime drama follows cat burgular Die Swart Arend, Alvarez Quintero and jewel thief Inezta du Preez to Cape Town. Each have their targets set on the Blue Flame, a blue diamond from the mines of South Africa.

Juweeldiewe is a whirlwind of red lips and martini’s, cigars and whiskey, filled with action and sharp humour.
