Los Angeles – The wait is over, the official title for the sequel of Man of Steel has finally been revealed: Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice.
It is an obvious reference that the next film in the franchise directed by Zack Snyder will be Justice League.
The film will bring together Superman (Henry Cavill), Batman (Ben Affleck) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot).
It also stars Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and Holly Hunter in a role created for the movie. Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White) and Diane Lane (Martha Kent) will also join the sequel.
Shooting of the film has begun on location at Michigan Motion Picture Studios and further shooting will take place in Illinois, Africa and the South Pacific.
The movie is scheduled for release on the 26 May 2016.
