Cape Town - Heineken announced on Friday that Bond girl Bérénice Marlohe will be attending the South African Skyfall premiere.
It is thought that the South African premiere is due to take place sometime between 22 and 30 November, but the exact date is yet to be confirmed due to scheduling difficulties.
Bérénice, who hails from France, portrays the role of Severine in the latest Bond movie opposite Daniel Craig, and has also been signed on as the face of the Heineken's Crack the Case campaign.
This visit will also mark a historic event as this will be the first time in 007 history that a Bond actress will visit South Africa for a Bond premiere.
SA Bond fans owed this experience
Marketing manager for Heineken, Tjeerd Veldhuis, said that they are "hugely excited" about Bérénice's visit to South Africa for the premiere.
"The premiere wouldn't be complete without representation from one of the film's stars." Veldhuis also believes that they owe it to South African Bond fans to make this experience happen.
The latest installment is directed by Oscar-winner Sam Mendes and also stars Daniel Craig, Naomie Harris, Dame Judy Dench and Ben Whishaw who takes over the role of gadget master Q.
Skyfall is due to be released in SA on 30 November, a month after the official premiere in the UK.
