DiCaprio and Foxx are partners in crime

Los Angeles - Leonardo DiCaprio and Jamie Foxx are reuniting for a new crime movie.

The actors, who appeared together in Quentin Tarantino's Oscar-winning film Django Unchained earlier this month, will star in the forthcoming adaptation of crime novel Mean Business on North Ganson Street by Craig Zahler.

According to Deadline, DiCaprio - who is both producing and starring in the film - will play a disgraced detective that gets sent to a hellhole town in Missouri to tackle the rise of violent crime.

There, he joins forces with another disgraced detective, played by Foxx, and the pair begin a crackdown on crime.

Zahler will pen the script based on his own novel, which is currently looking for a publisher.

Busy Actors

DiCaprio recently starred in Baz Luhrmann's adaptation of The Great Gatsby, in which he plays millionaire Jay Gatsby. He is next set to reunite with regular film collaborator Martin Scorsese for The Wolf on Wall Street.

Meanwhile, Foxx stars in the upcoming summer blockbuster White House Down with Channing Tatum, in which he plays the president of the United States, whose life is in danger when the White House comes under attack.

Foxx will next star alongside Quvenzhane Wallis and Cameron Diaz in a remake of classic musical film, Annie.
