Fast and Furious 7 will be completed

Los Angeles - Fast & Furious 7 will be completed following Paul Walker's death.

The action movie will finish filming and be released in due course, according to director James Wan, despite previous speculation the leading man's death will result in the film being scrapped.

Production on the flick was halted in the aftermath of Walker's death in a fiery car crash on 30 November. Wan confirmed the movie will go ahead to TMZ and added the cast and crew are gathering their bearings following their pal's demise.

He said: "They're pretty sad, pretty sombre. But we are all dealing with it."

Leaked scene from Fast & Furious 7

Leaked footage has also circulated the internet which shows Walker and Vin Diesel's characters attending a funeral. In a chilling premonition, Tyrese Gibson's character tells Walker's Brian, "No more funerals." Walker replies, "Just one more." Watch the video here.

Already shot some scenes

Walker starred in five of the six previously released Fast & Furious films and had begun shooting scenes for the seventh film with co-stars Vin Diesel and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.

Universal Pictures recently released a video tribute dedicated to Walker, which splices together key moments from the 14 years of the film franchise, showing touching moments between the late actor and his co-stars as they race cars and celebrate victories.

In one section of the video, Walker's long-time co-star, Diesel, toasts his friends, saying, "The most important thing in life will always be the people in this room, right here, right now," before the cast, including Walker, clink bottles.
