First sneak peek at Ben Affleck as Batman

Los Angeles – Director Zack Synder has released the first pictures of Ben Affleck as the cape crusader on the set of <em>Batman vs Superman</em>.

In the picture posted by Snyder on his Twitter account Affleck looks chiselled to perfection in the Batsuit kitted out with a long cape and pointy mask.

The picture comes a day after Snyder teased fans with a picture of the brand new Batmobile.

The sequel, which will see Henry Cavill reprise his role as Superman, is set to hit cinemas on 6 May 2016.
