Los Angeles - A grumpy cat is set to star in a film.
The kitty, named Tardar Sauce, who became an internet sensation after pictures of her grouchy facial expressions were plastered over the web and shared virally, looks in line to appear in a "Garfield-like feature film", according to Deadline.
The movie deal will see Todd Garner and Sean Robins, of production company Broken Road, working to give the miserable feline a voice.
The moody moggy has even attracted celebrity fans in the shape of The Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder, who met the stroppy cat at an event in Austin, Texas, recently and took to Twitter to share his thoughts.
