Los Angeles - Channing Tatum returns in a new biographical drama Foxcatcher from director Benett Miller who won Best Director at the Cannes Film Festival for his work on this film.
Channing plays Mark Schultz, an Olympic wrestler whose relationship with his sponsor and brother lead to unlikely circumstances.
Tatum described this role as his hardest acting challenge to date.
His performance in the film has created Oscar buzz for the Magic Mike actor. The film was also a major hit at this year's Cannes Film Festival in France.
Steve Carell plays John Eleuthère du Pont a murderous paranoid schizophrenic who happens to be a millionaire.
The film also stars Mark Ruffalo, Sienna Miller and Vanessa Redgrave.
Foxcatcher is due for release on 14 November.
