Jake Gyllenhaal’s insane secret behind his Southpaw six pack!

Los Angeles – Jake Gyllenhaal went from scrawny in Nightcrawler to supersized hunk in Southpaw in just a matter of months.

The 34-year-old actor had to get ripped for his new role as Billy Hope in the boxing flick that promises to land him on the Oscar nom list this year for sure!

According to Gyllenhaal’s trainer, former professional boxer Terry Claybon, the six pack didn’t come easy.

Mail Online reported that Jake worked out six hours a day. His daily workout included 2000 sit ups – of which he did a 1000 in the morning and 1000 at night.
