Los Angeles - John Travolta's on-stage exchange with Idina Menzel at the Academy Awards was "rehearsed in total".

The Grease star - who caused much amusement during the same event in 2014 when he called Idina 'Adele Dazeem' - was jokingly introduced by the Frozen actress as, "My dear friend, Glom Gazingo".
