Cape Town - The smashing new trailer for The Croods, a new 3D animated prehistoric tale from Dreamworks, has landed online.
According to Dreamworks, The Croods is a "prehistoric comedy adventure that follows the world's first family as they embark on a journey of a lifetime when the cave that has always shielded them from danger is destroyed. Traveling across a spectacular landscape, the Croods discover an incredible new world filled with fantastic creatures - and their outlook is changed forever".
The movie boasts the voice talents of Nicolas Cage as Grug, the well-meaning, overprotective but outdated patriarch of the Croods family, Emma Stone as his spirited daughter, Ryan Reynolds as Guy a nomad they encounter on their dangerous journey, and Catherine Keener as Ugga, Grug's wife.
From the creators of How to Train Your Dragon, The Croods is set for release in South African cinemas in 3D on 29 March 2013.
