Los Angeles – Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines star Nick Stahl, who was last week reported missing by his wife on 14 May, has resurfaced unharmed, reports People magazine.
On Saturday night, the actor, who has battled substance abuse issues, entered a rehabilitation centre. According to his wife Rose, he had not been seen since 9 May.
Stahl, 32, had sent an e-mail to friends to inform them of his plans to receive treatment, explaining he would be out of contact for 30 days.
30-day programme
In a statement to People, Rose Stahl, 30, said that Nick sent an "unemotional and unapologetic e-mail" on Friday, saying he's okay. He also confirmed that he would be entering a 30-day rehab programme, and that he planned to "make some arrangements to get his clothes".
On Sunday, Rose took to Twitter to let concerned fans know that the search for Nick was over:
"It's all good. In the sense the search is over. There is safety & even some comfort now ... I do hope that there is a silver lining to this event and I have been truly inspired to keep on keepin on. I have no more comments," she wrote.
Nick and Rose Stahl have been embroiled in a custody battle over their two-year-old daughter, Marlo. Rose has claimed that she and her husband have been separated since January and filed court papers requesting sole legal and physical custody of their daughter.
"He wants to be well," Rose told E! News on Friday. "He's a good man and we want him home so we can help him."
Nick Stahl is best known for playing John Connor in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger, and the acclaimed HBO series Carnivàle. He played Charlize Theron's brother in the 2008 family drama Sleepwalking.
