Sony has Spider-Woman film in the works

Los Angeles - Sony Pictures has confirmed that they are planning a Spider-Man spin off with a female lead.

In the beginning of the year Marc Webb, the director of The Amazing Spider-Man, eluded to the fact that there was a possibility that Spider-Woman would come to life on the big screen sooner than fans all over the world expect.

Sony is hopeful that the film will be released as early as 2017.

Another one of Sony's exciting films is Sinister Six, the film chronicles the story of Spiderman villains who come together to destroy New York City. This epic film is due to be released in the US on 11 November 2016, and The Amazing Spider-Man 3 is due for release in the US in 2018.
