Los Angeles – Everyone’s favourite teen slasher franchise is making a comeback to the big screen.
According to Deadline.com, Sony Pictures will reboot the horror I Know What You Did Last Summer.
The original film was followed by two sequels, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer and the straight-to-DVD release I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer.
Deadline further reported that the latest film will be written by Mike Flanagan and partner Jeff Howard and based on the 1973 book by Lois Duncan.
The original film starred young Hollywood stars Jennifer Love Hewitt, Freddie Prince Jnr, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Philippe and grossed $125m at the box office.
