Beverly Hills – While Hollywood was singing Woody Allen’s praises at the 71st Golden Globe Awards, his estranged family publicly dissed the veteran filmmaker.

Allen, who wasn’t present at the glitzy event, received the Cecil B DeMille Award for lifetime achievement in film.

The 78-year-old director’s ex-partner Mia Farrow and her 26-year-old son Ronan Farrow definitely made their dismay known on Twitter.

Mia Farrow and Allen publicly split in 1992, in part due to the revelation that Allen was in a relationship with their then 20-year-old adopted daughter Soon-Yi Previn.

Mia, who had been tweeting live updates from the event quickly changed the channel when Allen’s award was handed out; “Time to grab some icecream & switch over to #GIRLS”

While Ronan reacted with: “Missed the Woody Allen tribute - did they put the part where a woman publicly confirmed he molested her at age 7 before or after Annie Hall?”

Diane Keaton, the star of several of Allen’s most well regarded films, accepted the award on his behalf.
