'Avengers' directors pen letter asking fans not to share spoilers

Cape Town – Avengers: Endgame directors Anthony and Joe Russo have appealed to fans not to post spoilers of the end of the film.

This comes after the Los Angeles Times reported that footage of the film has leaked.

According to the publication, the leaked footage appears to have been filmed off a large screen in a screening room. Images and gifs from the footage have appeared online.

In response to the leak, the Russo brothers have appealed to fans not to spoil the ending of the highly anticipated movie.

Chris Hemsworth who plays Thor and Mark Ruffalo who plays The Hulk also shared the letter on their Instagram accounts.

Avengers: Endgame opens in cinemas Friday, 26 April.
