Blake Lively takes on the most challenging role of her career

Cape Town - Blake Lively has shared how researching addiction for her new movie The Rhythm Section was the hardest thing that she has ever done, professionally.

In the upcoming action thriller Lively plays a homeless, heroine addicted prostitute seeking revenge after her family is killed in an aeroplane crash.

To prepare for the role she did ride-alongs with police and spent time talking to addicts on the streets.

For the spy role Lively's character will sport a number of different looks. She was first seen on set looking dreary and then glammed up.

During filming, the A Simple Favour actress suffered an injury on set while performing an action sequence which led to production being halted. (Read more here).
