Carrie Fisher’s death: 5 stories you should read

Cape Town – Following the sudden death of George Michael, Hollywood lost another icon on Tuesday.

Carrie Fisher died after going into cardiac arrest for the second time. She was 60.

The Star Wars actress was placed on a ventilator on Friday after going into cardiac arrest on a flight from London to LA. Carrie’s condition was reported to be stable on Sunday and she was due to be taken off life support. However, early on Tuesday her heart stopped and she was pronounced dead.

Funeral arrangements for the veteran actress is yet to be revealed.
