Cast of BlacKkKlansman 'affected by its strong message'

Cape Town - BlacKkKlansman is the 2018 American biographical drama film, directed by Spike Lee, that is sure to be hard hitting stuff when it hits the big screen.

The film is based on the 2014 memoiur Black Klansman by Ron Stallworth and stars John David Washington, Adam Driver, Laura Harrier and Topher Grace. 

Set in the 1970s it follows Stallworth (Washington) the first African-American detective to serve in the Colorado Springs Police Department. 

Determined to make a name for himself, Stallworth bravely sets out on a dangerous mission: infiltrate and expose the Ku Klux Klan. The young detective soon recruits a more seasoned colleague, Flip Zimmerman (Adam Driver), into the undercover investigation of a lifetime. Together, they team up to take down the extremist hate group.
