Cape Town - An authorised biopic about Celine Dion is heading to the big screen.
According to The Hollywood Reporter the feature titled Cèline Before Celine will be directed by Marc-Andre Lavoie.
It will centre on her upbringing before her stardom with production expected to begin in 2020.
Her nephew Jimmy Dion will write the screenplay.
The publication further reports that the biopic has the blessing of her family including her mother Therese who has given the director archives related to Celine's upbringing.
Another separate film inspired by the singer, The Power of Love is also in the works.
